Felipe Lopez, CEO & Owner

In 1997, a young boy who worked as a cashier at a gas station knew he needed to pivot with his career. Young Felipe was lucky to meet a friend at the gas station who introduced him to Herrera Marble. The journey of learning more about fabrication began from there.

When he first started, he quickly mastered the art of fabrication within two years, owing it his eagerness and curiosity, and without having any knowledge of the industry. From there, Felipe moved toward learning about installation by the end of 1999. He worked on several projects in different US cities including San Francisco, Aspen and Palm Springs.

In 2005, he was hired as a field supervisor. During this role, Felipe was responsible for interacting with contractors, homeowners, and signers of the project while closely overseeing workers and drafting technicians to ensure the job was done right.

From 2005 to 2018, he served as a field supervisor for both Herrera Marble and Stoneland,  USA. In April 2019, Felipe took the leap, set up his own business and called Marble Design By Lopez, Inc. and the rest is history!
